Poster design for the set of Erpingham Camp. Based Joe Orton’soriginal playwhich is, in turn, loosely based on The Bacchae, the ancient Greek tragedy by Euripides.

What interested us about Ian Summer’s adaptation is that he brings characters and elements from The Bacchae in a far more pronounced way than Orton’s. We continued to include elements from the original text, by turning quotes from The Bacchae in the posters which cover the underground club of Dionysus’ world.
